Biography
I was born in 1984 in St. Louis, MO, and I now live in New York City. My short stories have appeared in Subterranean, Strange Horizons, ChiZine, Daily Science Fiction, Electric Velocipede, Sybil's Garage, and Wilde Stories 2011: The Year's Best Gay Speculative Fiction, among many others. I'm a book critic for Strange Horizons and I frequently review genre films for Slant Magazine. I'm an Active member of SFWA. I hold a B.A. in English from Hunter College, and after some time working in the film and publishing industries in various capacities, I now work for New York University, where I recently completed an M.A. in Humanities.
